Drill team is a group of horses and riders performing choreographed maneuvers to music. Our teams perform/compete at the Western Idaho Fair Drill Team competition each August. Drill teams are intended to entertain, show sportsmanship, horsemanship, teamwork and dedication Our teams practice several times a month to prepare. We wear uniforms and costumes while performing to help showcase our themes. Individual teams work collaboratively to come up with a unique set of maneuvers and costumes to perfect for the competition. Healing Hooves drill team may have multiple teams during the season, depending on the number of riders and routines. Riders must be able to control their horse at a canter in order to participate.
DRILL TEAM PARTICIPATION IS BY INVITATION ONLY
